World Refugee Day 2009
The Windsor Public Library in partnership with several local organizations and agencies that serve newcomers to Canada will come together to celebrate World Refugee Day 2009 in Windsor, by holding a public event at the Central Library (850 Ouellette Avenue) on Friday, June the 19th, from 12:00 to 2:30 PM. Attendees will have the opportunity to listen to the expressions of people who came to Canada as refugees as they share their stories through storytelling, poetry, dance and music. We invite you to join us for the celebration.
