			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Mar  6, 2010 - HMCS Hunter is proud to announce that we are having an Open House &#038; Job Fair scheduled for Saturday, the 6th of March 2010 from 11 am to 4 pm. This event offers the public an opportunity to learn more about the exciting part-time opportunities that Canada’s Naval Reserve has to offer. Over the past 5 years we have hired approx 200 people ranging from ages 16 to 56 from all walks of life, and experiences. Ideal for students and seasonal workers, the Naval Reserve only asks for one night a week during the year and 2 months of training during your summer vacations. You are paid for your training and no experience is required. We also offer tuition reimbursement of up to $2000.00/yr over 4 yrs for post-secondary students. Please come down and see what we are all about!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Mar  3, 2010 - The 2nd Annual Conference for Internationally Trained Professionals is an initiative of the YMCA of Windsor and Essex County, in partnership with local area agencies providing employment and/or settlement services to newcomers in Windsor and Essex County. The project consists of a regional event, developed in accordance with current labour market trends and community demands, designed to reduce the barriers internationally trained professionals face in securing suitable and related employment.</p>
<p>The ITP Conference aims to connect internationally trained professionals with key community stakeholders, such as government officials, area agencies providing services to newcomers, employers, professional associations, industry representatives, regulatory/accreditation bodies, educational institutions, and other successful internationally trained professionals.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Feb  28, 2010 - The Windsor/Essex County Humane Society is excited about hosting its 6th annual bowl-a-thon to raise funds for the animals who are in their care while awaiting their forever homes and are looking for teams to join them for the fun!</p>
<p>Teams should consist of 4-6 bowlers (you will be placed on a team with other singles if you don&#8217;t have one). All that&#8217;s required from you is to seek out donations from your friends, family and co-workers, then join them for a couple of games. There will be some great prizes to be won in a number of fun categories (here&#8217;s a hint, you don&#8217;t need to be a bowler to win!). Raising $35 in donations enables you to bowl two games (including shoes).</p>
